Underneath picture-perfect blue skies, the TAS Foundation’s annual Family Tennis Day proved to be a great success. Hosted for the first time at the TAS Gill Precinct, this year’s Family Tennis Day provided an ideal backdrop for a day of sport and community celebration. Participants flocked to the courts bringing plenty of energy whether they were playing for 'sheep stations' or simply rallying for 'jelly beans'.
No one could resist the secret weapon of the day, the legendary punch! Once again, it proved to be a crowd-pleaser, with many players lining up for seconds.
Following a delicious lunch, the afternoon finals delivered great entertainment, featuring fiercely contested games. Congratulations to the winners -
Sheep Stations : Will (Year 11) and George (Year 7)
Jelly Beans : Michael Rae and his son Hamish (Year 8)
