Fairways, Fun, and Fundraising | A triumph at the Annual TAS Foundation Golf Day
Everyone had their fingers crossed that this year’s TAS Foundation Annual Golf Day would finally go ahead, and we were beyond thrilled when it did!
The greens were in fantastic shape, the weather played along, and a brilliant crowd gathered for a day dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and fundraising for the Toowoomba Anglican School Foundation and the Toowoomba Anglican School.
True to any great golf day, the competition was fierce, but the laughs were even bigger. Players had an absolute blast out on the course, even if a few errant balls went completely astray and some very near misses!
Beyond the standard 18 holes, the Trackman setup was a massive hit, giving players a high-tech way to test their skills with the most accurate shot and the fastest swing being fiercely contested. Meanwhile, the putting competition had plenty of friendly rivalry with the winner putting directly into the hole. There was a fierce battle for the coveted longest drive with some truly incredible shots down the fairway.
When all the scores were tallied, a massive congratulations goes out to the winners C & W Financial Services and to the runners-up Byron Capital.
